Luxury August Weekend Cabin Escape

Every year, we host one large annual getaway. We had such an amazing time last year at this secluded & almost secret wedding venue, that we're going back for round 2 in 2025! This is an open-invite for the general public; not just our social club members. Adults must be 25+ to join.

DETAILS

It's incredibly limited attendance, and beds are in shared dormitory-style rooms (some bunkbeds), but the property is luxurious. Near Sundre, Alberta. Complete with fire pit, large kitchen, hot tub, form dining room, and more.

3 days, 2 nights. Cost per person: $450. Due to attendance limits, the rate is still the same per person even if you opt to share a bed with your significant other. Single beds for solo joiners, and we will do our best to give queen beds to couples joining unless otherwise asked.

We'll be providing firewood (or a propane fire pit if there's a fire ban) and games (board games/lawn games like bocce). Clean drinking water is on site, and of course hot showers.

Ask us for photos from last year, and if this seems like your jam, come join us for Friday August 15th through Sunday August 17th! Check in is 3:00 pm, so come meet us anytime after this at the property. Check out is 11:00 am Sunday, and we'll begin clean-up at 9:00 am.

The venue is a 22 minute drive from downtown Sundre which has groceries, gas, Tim Hortons, etc.

RULES

• Adults only (25+)
• No excessive drunken behavior
• Absolutely no illegal drugs.
• Our Adventure Calgary club Code of Conduct is strictly enforced. Please re-read club rules on our web site before attending.
• There are no refunds, but you're welcome to resell your ticket if you can't make it.
• You must have signed the digital waiver on AdventureCalgary.com and verified your identity (blue check) on our web site. Check-in will not be permitted until this is complete. This is for the safety of our members, and liability. Should you wish to verify your ID offline, attend one of Josh Hill's Adventure Calgary events in person before this one, and present your ID to him.

TIMELINE
The following timeline is a guideline for how things are likely to unfold. The activities we'll be doing are subject to change and are not part of the ticket price. The ticket includes accommodation costs only. We are not trail guides, and do not have first aid. Liability is your own. If you do attend, you're responsible for all of your own hiking equipment/supplies/food.

• Friday August 15
  • 1 pm - 3pm: Self-drive to venue (see our chat on FaceBook if you need to ask if someone is able to offer a ride share).
  • 3 pm - 8 pm: Check-in
  • 8 pm - 11 pm: Games, Fire Pit, Dinner
• Saturday, August 16
  • 8 am to 10 am: Breakfast together
