May Long Weekend Tipi Campout & Nature Adventure
Free Event
Friday, May 16, 2025 from 6:00 PM to Monday, May 19, 2025 at 10:00 AM
===> IMPORTANT UPDATE <===
UPDATE: Our Tipi reservation is sold out, but you can contact OneSpot Crossing on their Facebook page to book your own campsite, RV, or Tipi separately to still join us. Alternatively, just do a day trip to join us for the hiking portion! Unregistered guests, however, are not allowed on the Onespot sites, so you wouldn't be able to join us at the fire pit and evening activities back at camp unless you're staying there.
===> Overview <===
Join us for a weekend getaway on the river complete with fire pits and all the nature you handle this May long weekend! Games, fire pit, fishing, crossbow, bocce & lawn games, hiking, and great people!
We'll be sharing two large communal tipis at a local resort. They have a fire pit in the middle, and 8 cots surrounding the edges. If you prefer luxury private (solo) accommodation, that can be arranged as well but is quite a bit more expensive. This will be done directly with the resort, not through me.
===> Registration & Payment <===
Space is limited, so please message me first to confirm availability before sending an eTransfer. Do not send to my old e-mail address. Contact me for the current one. Cost is $150 per person to cover accommodation for the whole weekend, regardless of how many days you're able to join for. The rest of the expenses are your own.
===> Location <===
Car pooling is not provided, but we'll get a group chat going and you can ask others for rides if available. The location is within 1 hour driving of Calgary. Details provided after payment. There is a group leaving from Kelowna at 7:30 am that has room. The goal is to convene for the first night between 6 pm and 8 pm for a communal dinner/games.
