Good coffee, easy conversation

Make room in your Sunday for a friendly table and a few new connections. Come on your own or bring someone along with their own admission. There is no networking pitch, no need to be the loudest person in the room, and no pressure to stay beyond the planned time. Just settle in, say hello, and enjoy getting to know other people in Calgary. People of all ages, genders and backgrounds, and from all walks of life, are welcome.

This is a self-guided social, with no on-site host. We arrange the reservation; everyone at the table helps make it welcoming. A simple introduction and an invitation to join the conversation go a long way.

The plan

Allow about 90 minutes. We will choose a moderately priced cafe or restaurant in a central Calgary neighbourhood with a reasonable drive or transit trip in mind. Confirmed attendees will receive the private venue name and address 72 hours before the event, once the reservation is confirmed. When you arrive, ask the restaurant host or hostess for the Adventure Calgary reservation so they can seat you at the same table as the other club guests.

Admission and refreshments

General admission is $5 and covers organizing the social only. Coffee, other drinks, food, tax and tips are extra and paid directly to the venue. Two free VIP-member admissions are available per event, limited to one per order and one per account. Each admission is for one person. The guest list stays private.

Making it happen

We need at least six confirmed attendees. Attendance is checked at 11:00 p.m. Calgary local time on the day before the event. If fewer than six people are confirmed, we will cancel and refund the full admission amount paid. Please keep your RSVP accurate so everyone can plan with confidence.
